Shell Club is a Shell loyalty program in Kenya designed to reward all Shell customers for every visit.

As a member of Shell Club, you can earn loyalty points whenever you spend on Shell fuels, Shell lubricants, Afrigas cooking gas, or at our Shell Select shop at service stations. Your points can then be redeemed for exciting rewards from our various redemption partners, countrywide.

Shell Club is open to all our customers. They are categorized as follows:

1. Private drivers
2. Taxi drivers
3. Motor bike riders
4. Matatu & Pick-up drivers
5. Lorry & Bus drivers

This program is open to all Shell customers within Kenya who are 18 years and above.

You will just need your phone with an active Safaricom number to register through USSD, Shell Club Mini App on MPESA App and Shell Club website.

5.1 Option 1: USSD

1. Dial *523#
2. Select number 11 (Enroll)
3. Enter your first name
4. Enter your last name
5. Enter date of birth (DD-MM-YY)
6. Select gender
7. Select member type
8. Enter your city
9. Confirm by accepting Shell loyalty T&C.
10. Accept OR Decline Marketing Communication.

Once processed, you will receive an SMS notification welcoming you to Shell Club and awarding you 150 points.

Registration is now complete. Dial *523# and Welcome to Shell Club where every visit counts.

5.2 Option 2: Shell Club Mini App

1. Download MPESA App on Google Play store and Apple store
2. Tap on Shell Club Mini App on the MPESA App
3. Input your phone number
4. Fill in the one step registration details-First name, Last name, Date of birth, Gender, Member type, accept the Shell loyalty T&C, accept or decline marketing communication.
5. You shall be awarded 150 points for full registration
6. Log in to access your points and so much more from Shell

You can register to become a Shell Club loyalty member following steps detailed in Point 5.

However, at this time earning of points will be limited to transactions paid via MPESA only. Earning of Shell Club points through other forms of payment (Shell Card, Credit card) shall be enabled at a later stage.

You earn points whenever you spend at a Shell station and make payments via MPESA on Shell fuels, Shell lubricants, Afrigas cooking gas, or at our Shell Select shop.

You can confirm the points you have earned by checking your last five transactions on both USSD and Shell Club Mini App.

No, you cannot use your Shell Club card to earn points as the Shell club card is no longer valid for use.

You can check your point balance using below options:

10.1 USSD

1. To check your points, dial *523#
2. Select number 1 (Check Point Balance)
3. You will receive an SMS notification advising on your Shell Club points balance.

10.2 Shell Club Mini App

1. Log in to the Shell Club Mini App on the MPESA App.
2. Tap on Transactions to view your point balance at the top right.

The more points you earn, the closer you are to your rewards.

You can redeem points through:

a. Payment with Shell Club points for our Shell products at the station i.e. Fuel, Lubricants, Cooking gas or Shopping items from the Shell shops

b. Payment with Shell Club points at selected vendor partners. Check out for signages indicating Shell Club points accepted here or visit https://www.shell.co.ke/shell-club-loyalty.html.

2. Select number 2 (Redeem with Shell Club points),3(Redeem Airtime)
3. Select redemption option
4. Enter amount to purchase
5. Confirm purchase
6. You will receive an SMS notification confirming you redemption.

11.2 Shell Club Mini App

1. Log in to the Shell Club Mini App on the MPESA App.
2. Tap on Redeem with Points OR Redeem offers
3. Select the redemption option.
4. You will receive an SMS notification confirming your redemption

Yes, you can redeem using your Shell Club points earned so long as the merchant has an MPESA till number that accepts the points-Check out for signages indicating that Shell Club points are accepted or visit https://www.shell.co.ke/shell-club-loyalty.html

12.1 USSD

1. To pay using your points, dial *523#
2. Select number 2 (Redeem with Shell Club points)
3. Select option to pay (Buy Goods)
4. Enter Till Number
5. Enter amount
6. Confirm payment value with Shell Club points to merchant

12.2 Shell Club Mini App

1. Log in to the Shell Club Mini App on the MPESA App
2. Tap on Redeem with points and input the till number and amount
3. Click on Pay with Points

Shell Club will periodically run special campaigns for Shell Club members, whereby you will be able to earn bonus points. We will communicate the details of any special campaign, through direct SMS system to customers and the website https://www.shell.co.ke/shell-club-loyalty.html. You can also call the Shell Club Customer Care center, to keep abreast on these promotions.

Shell Club Redemption options include the following categories:

1. Payment with Shell Club points
2. Airtime
3. Exclusive special offers-Food vouchers, Travel and accommodation coupons, Experiential tickets such us movie tickets etc.

The rewards will be regularly updated on the Shell Club website. You can also call the Call Center for an update on the same.

Yes, you can redeem several gifts with your points. All you have to do is accumulate enough points for the gifts that you want to redeem then visit the vendor and redeem with Shell Club points.

16.1 Shell Club is a loyalty program designed to reward all Shell customers for every visit. As a member of Shell Club, you can earn loyalty points whenever you spend on Shell fuels, Shell lubricants, Afrigas cooking gas or at convenience shops at select Shell service stations. Your points can then be redeemed for rewards at our various redemption partners, countrywide.

16.2 Shell fuel card is a convenient, secure and efficient way to manage your fuel consumption. It removes the need for drivers to handle cash when they purchase fuel.

To transfer points, member shall have a minimum of 500 points. The member can transfer their points to only registered members as many times as they wish, but they cannot transfer all the points.

Your Shell Club points will remain valid for a period of 12 months from earning. Non-redemption of the points after expiration of this period will result in point expiration meaning the points will reset to zero.

Shell Club members personal data/information remains strictly confidential. The data provided by the customer can be checked and modified at any time from Shell Mini App, or by calling the customer care center. For further details on the safety of your personal data, please check the Shell Club Privacy Policy.

All Shell service stations, and Shell Select shops countrywide are participating in Shell Club for earning of points on purchase and redemption of points.

Shell Club points shall also be allowed for redemption in selected vendors.

You can opt out of Shell Club using the USSD *523#, Shell Club Mini App & Shell Club Website. When you opt out, all your personal data and transaction history will be lost. You will have to opt back in and register a fresh as a new member.

21.1 USSD

1. Dial *523#
2. Select 98 MORE, Others, Opt out.
3. Confirm you want to exit Shell Loyalty Club.
4. You will receive confirmation of successfully opting out.

21.2 Mini-App

1. Log in to the Shell Club Mini App on the MPESA App.
2. Tap on Settings and select Opt out.
3. Accept the terms and conditions for Opt out.
